Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif participated in the National Day celebrations of Qatar on 9 December 2025, held in Islamabad, marking a significant moment in Pakistan-Qatar diplomatic and cultural relations.
The ceremony, organized at the Qatari Embassy, featured a formal cake-cutting event in which the Prime Minister joined Qatari officials, diplomats, and members of the expatriate community residing in Pakistan.
During the event, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised Qatar’s remarkable achievements in development, economic growth, and global diplomacy. He emphasized the longstanding friendship between Pakistan and Qatar, noting the importance of nurturing bilateral cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, energy, and education.
