Ambassador Moghadam calls for peace, mutual respect, and stronger regional partnerships in 2026
Islamabad – 1 January 2026 (Adnan Hameed) : Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, extended warm and heartfelt greetings to the people of Pakistan and the global community on the joyous occasion of New Year 2026.
In his message, Ambassador Moghadam expressed sincere wishes for peace, prosperity, and harmony for both nations and the wider region. He emphasized the importance of friendship, dialogue, and mutual respect in overcoming shared challenges and building a future rooted in stability and cooperation. The Ambassador highlighted the longstanding cultural, historical, and brotherly ties between Pakistan and Iran, reaffirming Tehran’s commitment to further strengthen bilateral relations in the coming year. He noted that 2026 presents renewed opportunities to enhance political, economic, and people-to-people connections for the benefit of both nations.
“May the New Year bring progress, unity, and blessings for the people of Pakistan and the entire region. Let us continue working together for peace, development, and deeper partnership,” the envoy stated.
