Beijing – 21 October 2025 (Adnan Hameed) : The fourth plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) began in Beijing .
According to media reports, the CPC General Secretary Xi Jinping delivered a comprehensive work report on behalf of the Political Bureau, reviewing the Party’s recent progress and outlining draft proposals for the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026–2030).
The plan aims to steer China’s national economic and social development in the coming years, emphasizing modernization, technological innovation, and sustainable growth.
The session will also discuss key national priorities and strategic measures to strengthen China’s long-term development agenda.
