Sunbeams & Broadway Pizza Celebrate Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day with “Pizza for a Cause” – A Slice Towards 100% Literacy

The event, held on August 14, was a heartfelt gathering of donors, supporters, and friends, blending the joy of Pakistan’s 78th birthday with a powerful mission: building a Pakistan where every child can read, write, and thrive.
The informal, fun-filled event provided an opportunity for guests to connect with the Sunbeams team, witness the impact of their work, and learn about the PK100 Movement — Sunbeams’ ambitious drive to achieve 100% literacy in Pakistan by its 100th Independence Day in 2047.
“In this Independence Day, we want to celebrate by talking about the kind of Pakistan we want to see in 2047, a Pakistan where every child can read, write, and thrive. Pizza for a Cause is a simple yet powerful way to bring people together and inspire action towards our goal of 100% literacy,” said Sabeen Rashid, Head of Marketing at Sunbeams.
