CHENGDU – 8 August 2025 (MT Team) : Pakistan’s squash journey at the 2025 World Games kicked off in style on Friday, with rising star Noor Zaman delivering a flawless performance to crush China’s Chen Haisong in straight games (11-2, 11-2, 11-0) in the Round of 32, sending a clear warning to his competitors.
Our two shining stars of squash, Nasir Iqbal and Noor Zaman, have made the nation proud by qualifying for The World Games!
The Pakistani flag flies high in Chengdu, China, as our talented players represent the country on the world stage.
Pakistan secured two coveted seats in squash, one through winning bronze at the Asian Championship and the other through good results in the World Championship.
In a remarkable achievement, squash is the only discipline from Pakistan to qualify for The World Games, making this a momentous occasion for Pakistani squash and sports enthusiasts alike!
Led by Head Coach Fahim Gul, Nasir Iqbal and Noor Zaman will represent Pakistan with pride and give their best to make the nation proud.
