Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s Advisor on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, has expressed confidence that Pakistan will resolve its economic crisis within two years, provided that no disruptions like October 12 occur. Speaking at an event in Faisalabad, he highlighted various government initiatives, including the minority card program, aimed at providing relief. He noted that inflation, previously at 38 to 40 percent, has now decreased to 3 to 4 percent.
He emphasized the government’s commitment to controlling inflation and further reducing it. “Whenever we have had the chance to serve Pakistan, we have done so with full dedication,” he stated. He reiterated that as long as no unforeseen political interruptions take place, the country will recover economically within two years. He attributed this progress to the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief General Asim Munir, particularly through the efforts of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
Rana Sanaullah also commented that three of the four pillars of the state have lost their significance, leaving the media as the only institution capable of guiding the nation forward. He added that opposition groups, unable to find faults in the government’s performance, are attempting to stir controversy over government advertisements.
